Eco-Friendly Books Grow Up to Be Trees

Turing the book-production process upside down, a collaborative effort has created the ultimate in "green" trees.

Publisher Pequeno Editor and agency FCB Bueños Aires have turned the book-production process upside down with their new line of eco-friendly books, that when planted grow into trees. Designed specifically to educate children on the origin of books, the tomes are made using acid-free paper and ecologically friendly ink. Called a Tree Book Tree, the pages have embedded jacaranda seeds, which will germinate from the pages and grow to become a tree when planted and watered.
